Bjorn is a fully qualified, CAA approved, drone pilot and is responsible for the day to technical operations of the company.  The Founder of Drone Scotland, his background includes 8 years working within advertising and a further 12 years running his own business. Bjorn has also sat on the Scottish Advertising Board for a national brand. Bjorn is qualified to operate multi-rotor unmanned aircraft up to 20kg in weight. His work has been used by the BBC, STV, Reach PLC, The Sun, The Evening Times as well as councils, international and nationwide companies.

Michele is the creative mastermind behind Drone Scotland with an Honours Degree in Film and Media studies including a year at Film school in the USA. Michele is responsible for the day to day running of the business. She also joins the team on commercial shoots operating our ground cameras. 

Michele also has over 15 years experience working within a National Media Company. Michele has extensive knowledge of Publishing, Sponsorship, Digital Media, PR Events and Advertising. Michele is also a keen marathon runner.

Remote Drone Pilot

 

David is one of Drone Scotland’s qualified drone pilots. With just over 12 months drone operator experience, he is skilled in the operation of our fleet of UAV’s.

A retired Police Scotland Constable, David also operates as both a Comms Officer, Competent Observer and Ground Crew Officer. Given his years working with the general public and coordinating with emergency services, David adds massive value when working in congested or other high risk areas.

David’s skill set is primarily based around the aerial inspection and construction side of the business.

Ground Crew & Competent Observers

At Drone Scotland, we also employ the services of ground crew personnel and trained competent observers. In addition to this we have a UK wide network of PfCO pilots aligned with our business. Therefore, we are able to service the whole of the UK.
