In the final month’s of each year, we allocate time to deliver free CPD’s to companies to learn more about Drones and their real life application within industry. We fully recognise that many organisations may be intrigued by drones but unsure where to start, who to talk to or what to ask. These sessions enable interested companies to learn more about the drone industry and upskill their workforce.

Drone CPD being delivered

Our informal sessions promote an open and friendly environment where there is no such thing as a ‘wrong’ question. Our continued professional development sessions are educational in nature and are led by an industry expert with over 8 years commercial experience. We cater for most requirements including survey, inspection, video. photography, LiDAR, topography, multispectral, thermal and more.

We will bring some of our state of the art equipment with us as well as run demonstrations of real commercial outputs including point clouds, 3D models, DTM’s, DSM’s and georeferenced orthomosaics. Don’t worry if you don’t already know what asome of these outputs mean – we cover all this in our CPD.

Sessions held in the central belt are completely free and normally run for about 2 hours. Those further afield can be held online or at a minimal costs.

Notes:

  • these sessions are geared towards commercial organisations. We run academic sessions including STEM demo’s for schools and guest talks at Universities. Please let us know if your enquiry is for an educational institution and we can discuss options.
  • We don’t offer drone flying training as part of the CPD. The sessions are more educational in relation to deliverables and the ‘future’ of the drone industry
  • Sessions are completely free in locations including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Ayr etc. More than 1 hour drive from our Uddingston based office may incur a small expense fee.
