Drone Scotland fit and supply ultra wide lense timelapse cameras for hire. All our cameras are fixed with a solar panel and battery and and can run completely off-grid or mains powered. As part of our service you will also have access to a portal where you can access your images from anywhere in the world at any time. Our clients use our timelapse photography service for a number of reasons, depending on the project and use. These are as follows

  • Project Documentation – we provide clients with date stamped ultra high definition video. The videos can be archived and stored for future reference. This can aid in dispute resolution and project documentation.

Images can be captured to agreed hours, frequency, days of the week as well as duration. In addition to the internal micro sd card, a mobile sim or local wifi allows the images to be regularly uploaded to our cloud thus producing regular timelpases showing the latest progress.

Camera installation

The cameras require a solid and safe mounting point. In many cases, surrounding locations, such as neighbouring buildings or even lamp posts will suffice. If a suitable mounting point is not available, they can be installed by using either pivoted or extendable masts.

We normally only require access to the cameras, once every three months, for maintenance and cleaning purposes. Outwith that, the cameras are all controlled remotely either via the internet or bluetooth.
