If you’ve tried to reach us over the last few days, you might have noticed a brief quiet period on our ends!
Beyond our day-to-day work delivering flight plans, survey datasets, and site reports, Bjorn and I have spent the last six months quietly working toward a major personal goal. Last weekend, we put down the controllers, packed our running shoes, and lined up at the start line of the Oslo Marathon.
After half a year of early morning training runs, weekend long miles, and balancing busy project schedules, we are thrilled to say we officially crossed the 26.2-mile finish line together in Norway.
A Special Finish Line for Both of Us
This race meant a great deal to us individually and as a team:
- A Heritage First for Bjorn: With Bjorn being half-Norwegian, running through the streets of Oslo made for an unforgettable setting to complete his very first full marathon.
- Marathon #8 for Michele: Oslo marked my 8th marathon finish. No matter how many times you tackle 26.2 miles, the distance demands respect, fresh focus, and continuous grit every single time.
Back to Business
We want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent encouragement, cheered us on, or showed patience while we were out of the office for the weekend.
We’ve had a brief rest, refueled, and are back at our desks (and in the field), ready to bring that same focus and energy to our upcoming projects.
Warm regards,
Bjorn & Michele
