At Drone Scotland, we are strong believers in using the right tool for the right job. Hence, why we stock a wide variety of tools to help ensure that we can cater for a wide range of requirements. These requirements are probably best broken down to three categories:

  • Survey
  • Inspect
  • Media

Within each category there is a wide variety of more specific requirements – each will have it’s own set of deliverables. Therefore, we are constantly expanding our kit both in terms of hardware and software. The following is a breakdown of our primary equipment

Our equipment includes:

  1. Matrice M400 RTK including the Zenmuse L3 (LiDAR)
  2. Matrice 4D – IP55 rated survey drone
  3. Matrice 4TD – IP55 rated thermal and inspection drone

  16. Ground control points – help verify accuracy of RTK surveys
  17. High spec video editing/data crunching PC’s including industry leading software programs

But it’s not all down to the equipment you deploy. The skill and experience of the operator is just as important. When we look for drone pilots to support our business we are interested in talent and not necessarily the equipment. At Drone Scotland we are constantly learning and upgrading our skills to ensure we can deliver the best service to our clients.
