Over the last 2 years our business has grown in many directions and we are now regularly asked to produce a diverse range of digital videos. Clients love the fact we can produce aerial and ground footage, photography, editing, voice-overs and colour grading. We are effectively now operating as a full video production team.
The Institute for Digital Marketing recently announced the world watches 1 billion hours of YouTube social video every day. It’s not surprising therefore that the demand for digital video from corporate clients wanting to promote their services is on the increase.
In the last month we have filmed aerial digital videos for a shipping firm, an estate, 2 construction firms, a commercial property consultancy and an archaeologist. Our client portfolio is diverse, but they all have one thing in common – the need for quality video production.
We can produce videos from start to finish in-house or we can work alongside another production house, supporting them with aerial footage and/or editing. Either way we pride ourselves on quality and on positive customer feedback.
We were recently commissioned to deliver aerial images and aerial video for a Landart project funded by Creative Scotland. We travelled to a historic site near Kilmartin to film the project. We worked with artist Gabriele Stuckemeier and Archaeologist and filmmaker Dr Aaron Watson on the project. Gabriele successfully painted more than 300 tree stumps to create the shape of a large circle in keeping with the rockart from more than 4,000 years ago. Our aerial images and aerial 360 panoramas have been used to promote the exhibition and our aerial video will also be used in the film produced by Dr Aaron Watson. If you look closely at the 360 aerial panorama above you can see the painted trees. The outdoor exhibition is open to the public and you can visit it just off the B826 near Kilmartin.
Another recent project we worked on was to film the Ham 316 Dredger Boat as it sailed on the Clyde during August. We were very fortunate to get calm weather on the days it was sailing. Our client Van Oord gave us a very specific brief for an Aerial Digital Video. They wanted our drones to capture the boat from different angles with the backdrop of Glasgow and the Clyde in the background. They were delighted with the result and we event managed to capture it sailing into the sunset.
