It’s been an exciting year for our aerial data services business and we were delighted to be presented with 2 trophies at the Lanarkshire Business Awards this week. We were nominated for the awards of Best New Business and the Innovation in business categories.
Our business has grown rapidly over the last 4 years and despite covid-19 we’ve managed to come out the pandemic stronger than before. We’ve been delivering aerial data services to clients across Scotland including Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayrshire.
We were recognised for the Innovation in business award because of our bespoke construction aerial data services. We supply construction progress reports, aerial mapping, 3d models and 2d orthomosaic maps to the construction industry. We deliver rich data that brings the construction site to virtual offices. Our data is highly accurate and the turnaround time is much faster than traditional methods. We are an aerial data provider.
Sadly due to covid-19 the awards ceremony was cancelled this year however we will celebrate in style when the time is right.
This isn’t the first awards Drone Scotland received as we were recognised as the winners of the Hub South West Building for Growth Award in November 2019. Again our Innovation in Technology was recognised as our drone services products are disrupting the construction industry.
Drone Scotland are PfCO licensed. If you are thinking about hiring a drone pilot for your business make sure they have a PfCO license or you will be breaking the law. You can find a list of licensed pilots directly from the CAA website here.
